A Rainy Start Didn't Keep Them Away From
the 2010 Phoenix Firefighters Chili Challenge
What started out as a very wet day ended up being cool chili eating weather. The 2010 Phoenix firefighters Chili Challenge hit the streets of downtown Phoenix where firefighters were challenged by local chefs in a fierce chili competition to see whose chili reigns supreme. Firefighters arrived in Phoenix from as far as Green Valley to compete in the wet, windy, meteorological mayhem. Despite the risk and the wet feet, the bravery of these firefighters prevailed. THEY COOKED IT, AND THE PEOPLE CAME. Guest showed up all day with kids in tow to eat chili, drink some beverages and let the kids play in the kiddy land we had set up for them. This gas combustible event turned out to be a very fun, successful outing for all who attended.
